ENOSH's transparency policy for artificial intelligence in research, writing and editorial work — aligned with COPE guidance.
Generative AI tools may be used to assist with research, drafting and editing, but AI systems may not be credited as authors. Human authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy, integrity and originality of the work, and must disclose material AI use at submission.
Authors must declare the use of generative AI in the submission form and, on publication, in each affected book. ENOSH publishes the disclosure statement alongside the work. Existing disclosures: the titles Dalil Mohandisi al-Ahlam and Mohandis al-Ahlam carry an AI-assistance disclosure on their book pages.
Reviewers and editors must not upload unpublished manuscripts to public AI systems. Confidential material is protected and is not used for AI training without written consent.
AI-generated text, images or other assets obtained from third parties must be verified for provenance and licensing rights before inclusion, as set out in Rights & Licensing.
